Alpha Signals Desk

About The Desk

Our executive team includes an STA-qualified technician and institutional data leads, ensuring that our data platform operates to the highest standards of professional financial publishing.

Alpha Signals Desk was built on one principle — that serious traders deserve serious analysis.
The team behind the desk comes from a proprietary trading background. Real markets, real risk, multiple cycles. We understand what institutional-level thinking actually looks like because we’ve operated at that level.
We’ve had the privilege of working with the late Ari Kiev — one of the most respected performance psychologists in professional trading, whose influence shaped how the world’s most elite trading desks approach discipline, decision-making and the mental edge that separates consistent traders from everyone else. That philosophy is embedded in everything we produce here.
What Alpha Signals Desk delivers is the full picture. Deep technical analysis. Fundamental market intelligence. And the trading psychology that most traders never develop — until it costs them.
We don’t tell you what to trade. We give you the framework, the data and the mindset to read markets the way professionals do. And a private community of serious traders doing exactly the same thing alongside you.
The edge is here. The only question is whether you’re in the room.

Meet The Team

Martin is an STA-qualified market technician with over 35 years of market experience. He previously co-owned Laufred SCPC, a proprietary trading firm in Geneva, where real capital and real risk shaped an institutional approach to reading markets. Alpha Signals Desk is built on that foundation — decades of screen time distilled into a framework serious traders can actually use. The desk exists because that level of analysis shouldn’t be locked behind a trading floor.

Jake Rivers

Head Trader

Jake’s focus is execution and market structure. Where is price relative to key institutional levels, where is liquidity being hunted, and what does the technical picture say before the move develops. His analysis cuts through the noise and gets to what matters — the structure behind the price action, delivered every morning before the market opens. No noise, just where price moves.

Marcus Reid

Market Strategist

Marcus takes the long view. Where is crypto sitting within the broader macro cycle, how is institutional capital rotating, and what does the fundamental backdrop mean for price over the weeks and months ahead. That macro read is what separates a trade worth holding through volatility from one that isn’t. When the short term noise needs filtering out, Marcus provides the strategic context the desk builds around.

Alex Chen

Quantitative Lead

Alex runs the data layer. ETF flows, open interest shifts, funding rates, liquidation clusters — the derivatives and on-chain intelligence that tells you what the market is actually doing beneath the surface. These aren’t backward-looking metrics — they’re tracked in real time and flagged the moment positioning shifts. The signals most traders never see, identified before they become obvious.

Camila Vasquez

Behavioural Analyst

Analyst Camila reads the psychology behind market moves. Why retail is positioned the way it is, where fear and greed are driving decisions, what crowd behaviour is signalling before price reacts. The human element of markets is as powerful as any chart. Camila applies strategies and paradigms learned from the great Ari Kiev. His performance psychology framework shapes how she reads trader behaviour under real pressur.
